
Gentle Flow
Gentle yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance and flexibility. Each class will end with an extended period of relaxation. This class is appropriate for anyone of any age, shape or size. No Flexibility required.
Gentle yoga classes are typically described as appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. This approach orchestrates movements, controlled pressure, and well-measured stretches, including range of motion exercises. Gentle flow is an attempt to meet yoga students "where they are". An effective gentle yoga class then, provides a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all.
