
Yoga for New Students!
I am Excited to Welcome You!
It is your first time going to a yoga class, and you fear you'll feel out of place. And sure, walking into a yoga class for the first time can feel intimidating, especially if you are not sure what to expect. One way to help calm your pre-class worries is to learn a thing or two about yoga etiquette, and the general ins and outs of a typical studio ahead of time! Glance through these tips, and then enjoy the full yoga experience! You'll be set to go like you have been doing yoga for years!

Dress in layers! Your temperature may change during the course of your practice. You may need socks for final relaxation, or even a blanket.

Wear something that moves when you do, while keeping you covered where you want to be covered.

ARRIVE ON TIME so we can start on time!

Be sure Cell Phones and other noise-making devices are turned OFF.

Please come to class clean and free of scents! We will be breathing deeply.

If you must leave early, advise the instructor upon arrival and do NOT leave during meditation.

Take care of yourself in each pose! ASK QUESTIONS!
